It is important for you to understand that your Broker represents you in the transaction, and that explanations and transaction related questions should be asked of the Broker. Any flat fee compensation I may or may not receive depending on how involved your questions are is about .008% of what your Broker receives. Less than one-one- hundredth-of-one-percent is about the magnitude of legal issues that arise in most real estate transactions. That is why transactions are handled by brokers and title and escrow officers who are specialists repeat players. Thankfully, it is rare than an issue like an earnest money dispute arises that the Brokers are not able to resolve.
